Size Guides
How to measure your head for a beret. To determine your correct hat size, measure the circumference around your head across the temples and above the eyebrow ridges / around 1" above the ears. If you fall between measurements go for the next beret size up. It should be snug on your head, but comfortable to wear. Berets can later be shrunk slightly and shaped to enhance the fit.
Choosing the correct size for your head is important. Heads come in every shape and size so it is important that you measure your head correctly to ensure your beret is the correct fit.
NOTE, the beret, when worn on the head should be PARALLEL to the ground and measurement should be made accordingly.
The easiest way to decide your beret size is to take the measurement in centimetres and then check the chart above for the right size. British hat sizes mostly range from 6 1/2 to 8. European hat sizes use metric sizing which is a measure of head circumference taken in centimetres. Metric sizes usually range from 52cm - 64cm.
